What To Shred

Here at Ezy-Way Security Shredding, we receive many phonecalls from interested customers who wish to know what records and documents they need to have destroyed. The simple answer is any item that hosts a signature, account number, social security number or medical or legal information. If you, however, require a more detailed list to be absolutely certain that you are delivering the correct documents to us in one go, be sure to include these documents:

  • ATM receipts
  • Birth certificate copies
  • Medical and dental records
  • Credit card bills - carbon copies, summaries and receipts
  • Documents relating to investments
  • Documents containing maiden name
  • Cancelled and/or voided checks
  • Documents containing names, addresses, phone numbers or e-mail addresses
  • Documents containing passwords or PIN numbers
  • Bank statements
  • Driver’s licenses or items with a driver’s license number
